Most everyone can relate with the term ‘emotional baggage’. We all have this baggage, also called “trapped emotions”, and we recognize that it is not a good thing, but how do we get rid of it?

What is a “trapped emotion”?
Sometimes for reasons we do not fully understand, emotions do not process completely. Instead of simply experiencing the emotion such as grief, anger or overwhelm and moving on, the energy of the emotion becomes “trapped” in our physical body. So instead of moving on from this angry moment, or bout with grief, this negative emotional energy remains in the body potentially causing significant physical and emotional stress. Although trapped emotions are not visible to us, they are very real in our body, and can affect us and our life.
