Emotional Freedom Techniques (sometimes called Tapping) is a simple self-administered tapping procedure, on specific body meridians which is done alone or under the supervision of a practitioner to relieve negative emotional patterns. Negative emotions, trauma, anxiety, stress, worries, and fear all result in a disruption in the body’s energy system which eventually causes disease or pain. This technique is used to clear unwanted feelings, thoughts, cravings, physical pain and anything else that is disruptive to your life. When the energy system is rebalanced healing begins. This is a powerful healing tool for you to learn to use for yourself and your family.
What is EFT?
Tapping draws on the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture, which teaches that the body’s energy travels along specific pathways. Certain points on these pathways are stimulated to improve the flow of energy. The stimulation is done by inserting very thin needles (acupuncture) or by applying pressure (acupressure).
Studies show that acupuncture is effective for some conditions. Some scientists believe that it works because it stimulates the central nervous system and causes the body to release helpful chemicals. EFT tapping stimulates acupoints by touch rather than by the use of needles, making it similar to acupressure.

The Process of Releasing Trapped Emotions
Together, you and Jean will efficiently and painlessly remove your underlying trapped emotions by following a simple 4-step system:
DISCOVER
Your subconscious mind is the ultra-intelligent computer system of your body. It knows exactly what you need in order to achieve balance in the five key areas of health (physical, emotional, environmental, spiritual, and intellectual). Your emotional release practitioner, Jean, will use her intuitive gifts to energetically connect with your subconscious mind. This will allow discovery of truths only your subconscious mind can tell.
REVEAL
Once energetically connected to your subconscious, Jean will use specific questioning, charts of emotions, and muscle testing to get precise answers from your subconscious about imbalances in your body that need to be addressed. These questions are carefully thought out with specific intention to expose the trapped emotions that are depressing your optimal health.
RELEASE
To release the trapped emotions or correct energetic imbalance, the Emotion Code technique combines the modern technology of therapeutic magnets and trusted ancient medicine principles. Using the power of intention, your practitioner will clear the trapped emotions from your body, and then confirm the release.
EMPOWER
Magnetic energy acts as a powerful carrier for your practitioner’s intention to restore emotional and physical balance in your body. Freed from the emotional traumas and empowered in your new state of healing, you may experience many immediate or developing benefits.
The Process of EFT/Tapping
EFT tapping is convenient and easy to use as a self-help technique because you can do it any time you feel the need. Your practitioner will provide in-depth help in your sessions to assist you in learning how to maximize the benefits.
IDENTIFY
Begin by stating what is on your mind and rating your distress on a scale of 0 to 10.
Tapping can be used to aid in the treatment of numerous psychological issues such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder, phobias, anxiety and more.
Speak your “set-up statement,” which identifies the issue and includes a statement of self-acceptance.
REDIRECT
Begin the tapping sequence, using your fingers to tap on the specified sites. Tapping procedures can differ slightly, but most use these locations: the heel of the hand, three locations around the eye, the area below the nose, the area below the lips, the collarbone, the underarm, and the top of the head. From seven to nine taps are delivered on each spot. We will work together to identify which will work best for your treatment.
As you tap, use a reminder phrase to stay focused on your problem area.
RELEASE
At the end of the sequence, rate your distress. You will then continue the process until your distress rating is very low.
EMPOWER
Working with a practitioner will show you how to complete this technique appropriately and how to use it in your daily life on your own. It is this empowerment that we strive for, so that you have full control of your healing journey.
